What is Organic Cinnamon?

The use of cinnamon dates back from as early as 2000 BC in Ancient Egypt. The two most common forms, cassia and verum, originate from China and Sri Lanka respectively. Organic Cinnamon comes from QAI certified cinnamon trees - trees grown in specific conditions as set out by the National Organic Program. Cinnamon spice comes from the inner bark of the cinnamon tree and is then processed for everyday use.
